Getting Admission

Admission of pupils into Jaffery Nursery and Primary School is a termly exercise.
Students are admitted into the school regardless of religion, tribe or social status.
Admission is based on merit (there are always an entrance assessment that pupils have to pass for proper placement in a particular class).

What we offer

2.5 – 3.5 years

Daycare

Here we have students aged between 2.5 to 3.5 years. They come to us having limited social skills, no potty training, lack or minimum motor skills and just a few can communicate in English. Daycare students spend their time discovering through play.

Daycare Students spend most of their time learning through play and activities. Activities are planned to help them develop their gross and fine motor skills.

This comprises of our PP1 and PP2 Students. They are aged between 4-6 years. By the end of this level, they can construct 3 letter words, make simple English sentences are able to read and write numbers 1 – 100. Great foundations of learning for the future are laid in these classes.

Through hands-on activities and learning through play as well as project work, children actively investigate their interests, discover new ideas, and develop their own theories.

PP1 – PP2

Nursery

Grade 1 – Grade 6

Primary

Our lower primary comprises of Grade 1 to Grade 3 students. We have a total of 82 Students in this section. Our main focus is to build their self-confidence and self-esteem as this is the foundation of successful learning.

The upper primary section includes Grade 4, Grade 5 & Grade 6 with a total number of 81 students. From science-themed activities, and language-based competitions to sporting practices, the learners show great enthusiasm, talent and overall outstanding performance.

School Timings

The junior school section currently holds Grade 7, 8 and 9 classes. These classes achieved remarkable success in the Kenya Primary School Education Assessment. The future of these learners is promising here at JNAPS in the sense that there is a strong focus on personalized learning, student-centered approaches and the use of technology.
