Fun ways to learn
Our Curriculum
CBC System
The CBC education system is the newest form of education in Kenya. CBC is an abbreviation for competency-based curriculum, which is the replacement for the previous 8-4-4 system. The ministry approved the new curriculum for Kenyan students for education in 2017.
The curriculum was formulated so that a learner can develop life skills and abilities all through their school life. The CBC focuses on developing skills and abilities and how to walk through the daily challenges of life.
Below are some of the activities we engage our learners in so as to achieve a balanced education system that is not only focused on class work, but also practical development of life skills and enhancement of creativity and imagination.

Learning Through Play
Play promotes healthy brain development in children and enhances children’s creativity and imagination. Play is important in strengthening their gross motor skills. Play is beneficial in helping children organize and make sense of the world.
Art & Craft
It promotes critical thinking and boosts their creative skills. It also enables children to express themselves freely. Art is essential for our students to become 21st century learners.

Sports and Outdoor Activities
Outdoor activities enhance social relationships and build a team spirit amongst the students. These help in building skills such as Leadership and critical thinking. Most importantly sports activities promote good health.
Field Trips
Today’s students are visual learners and a field trip lets them touch, feel, and listen to what they are learning about. This helps them build on classroom instruction, gain a better understanding of topics, build cultural understanding and tolerance, and expose them to worlds outside their own. For just a few hours away from the normal learning environment, they learned a lot; proof by their tales.
